What is CBD?
CBD (AKA cannabidiol) is a safe and natural compound found in hemp plants. It is just one of over 100 cannabinoids found in the plant, but it's fast becoming the most popular feature of this powerful leafy green.
One of the main reasons CBD is making waves in the wellness world is because it’s associated with the positive therapeutic properties of hemp, without any of the intoxicating effects.
There's been much written about the benefits of CBD. And, while it’s believed to interact with the body in a range of ways, one of the most talked-about is its impact on the human endocannabinoid system. Put simply, your endocannabinoid system self-regulates to changes inside and outside of the body to achieve and maintain biological tranquillity. The main function of thisis to support homeostasis and balance the internal chemistry of the body.
What is CBD Oil Made From?
In a CBD oil, you have the processed CBD extract (taken from hemp plants) and a carrier oil to make it quick and easy to ingest. In the CBD Oral Drops, we use coconut oil – and it is delicious. Plus, because coconut oil is rich in fatty acids, it allows for increased bioavailability. What is CBD bioavailability, you ask? This is the rate at which cannabidiol is absorbed. It plays a key role in delivering the strength and effects you want. The higher the bioavailability, the higher the potency, which is what makes that dose of coconut oil all the more important.
Is CBD Legal?
Yes, CBD alone is completely legal. Without THC, it is not a drug, but rather a natural wellness product you can take in oil, capsule, gummy, cream or balm form. Our products are 100% THC-free, so our CBD will not show up in a recreational drugs test, and therefore is suitable for use in professional sports and other industries that may have this requirement. In fact, we are part of the European Specialist Sport Nutrition Alliance (ESSNA) and Professional Golf Association (PGA), which means each product we blend is suitable for athletes. What is THC?
THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol; a mind-altering ingredient found in the cannabis plant, which gives cannabis its intoxicating properties. We’re often asked, ‘does CBD get you ‘high’?’ and the answer is, ‘not if you use our products’. They’re all THC-free, meaning none of our oils, capsules or topicals will make you feel intoxicated.
How Much CBD Should I Take?
As a general rule, you should start low with CBD and gradually adjust your dosage, building up to find a level that works perfectly for you. That means applying just one full dropper of the CBD Oral Drops underneath your tongue, or taking one CBD Capsule until you feel ready to increase. That ‘perfect’ level is the dose that gives you the effects you’re looking for. We recommend taking no more than 70mg per day.

CBD Muscle Balm & CBD Skin Cream
While ingestibles work with cannabinoid receptors inside the body, CBD topicals are said to interact with localised receptors on the area they’re applied. Used to enhance a DIY massage or soften skin, the CBD Muscle Balm is infused with nourishing eucalyptus, arnica and aloe.
