Dr Aswani trained in General Medicine, Anaesthesia and Critical Care Medicine in the leading hospitals in the UK and Australia in a career spanning 23 years to date.
He currently practises Critical Care Medicine in London. He gained his PhD in Translational Medicine and Therapeutics at Queen Mary University of London where he focussed on the organ protection of novel DNA scavengers in trauma and sepsis. Dr Aswani is committed to further realising the anti-inflammatory potential of medical cannabinoids to improve outcomes in inflammatory disease.
